  • What an experience from start to finish. The visit was a present for our mums 80th birthday. You are looked after from the moment you walk in, we had the set 3 course menu, this was exceptional. A special thanks to Maddie one of the waitresses who had just moved to the Ritz from the lake district, a young girl, but very honest about her work, i am sure she will excel in hospitality world, especially fine dining.

  • Wahhhhh, Sunday lunch at The Ritz. Art des table for 4 people. Started with a warm welcome and clear instructions from the doorman. Rivoli Bar for a cocktail, very helpful member of staff to explain the extensive menu. Cocktails were very good. Then walking through the main halls to the restaurant was beautiful and greeted and brought to our table effortlessly. Introduced to waiters and sommelier and so we began. Stunning amuse bouche, fish cookery and sauces stunning, beef Wellington good, sauces and potatoes amazing. Pre desert stunning and the crepe suzette amazing... Sommelier was possibly the highlight. Warm, welcoming and loved talking, explaing and recommending a few wines. His manner and professionalism was exemplary. What a fantastic experience.

  • Absolutely sublime experience at the Ritz! Every bit as fancy and impressive as it was expensive! Definitely worth it however for taste of food presentation quality and ambiance. We went for my mom’s birthday on 9/16/25 and dined on the 7 course meal. Of note for the course meals everyone in the table has to do the same experience. This delectable delight had the perfect amount of savory and sweet and was definitely good enough portion size to be filling as well. Each course was a culinary delight with robust well paired flavors that lended to the next dish. The service was also outstanding everyone was attentive courteous and well versed on presentation of the dishes. The ambiance was also amazing quite striking elegance in a more intimate setting. They additionally made mention of my mom’s birthday and ensured that this was recognized. I appreciated their hard work and dedication to making my moms birthday meal memorable

  • An extraordinary experience. John Williams gained his second Michelin star in February 2025 but we've known this restaurant to be one of the best, if not the best restaurant in London for many years. The dining room is opulent, the service friendly and simply the best anywhere and the kitchen just keeps cooking and presenting some of the best UK food we've ever enjoyed. There's a perfectly reasonable dress code. You will not be disappointed.

  • Our second visit was for afternoon tea to celebrate my Mother in Law's 85th birthday. As you would expect from the best in the world, the whole experience never disappointed on any level. The pinnacle was when the birthday cake came out and the choir sang Happy Birthday accompanied by the piano. We left there very full, very happy and with tears in our eyes when my Mother in Law said it was her best ever birthday.

  • We had the seven course menu and every course was excellent. The service was fantastic with special mention to the Albanian waiter we had, he was so professioanl in his approach and was an excellent asset to the team. There was one other waiter, who delivered our tea service, who was on “robot mode” held no eye contact and the service felt robotic/rehearsed/emotionless he rushed too much which was shame. The atmosphere is clearly very formal but it was welcoming and we were treated excellently. My only complaint was the table of two 50plus year olds who decided that they would each each other faces for around an hour, the conversation was vulgar from them as was the “slobbering” noise while they tried to investigate each other tonsils. The staff should have intervened as they were taking it too far and it really wasnt pleasant to have to listen to/observe. Aside from this pair of guests, the who experience was fabulous, amzing food and mostly top class service. Highly recommend.
